Review of RocketProfit Added

November 8th, 2008

One of the larger affiliate networks, RocketProfit, has now been reviewed by PublisherSpot.

Here is a small excerpt of the review:

1One of the more noteworthy features at RocketProfit is Rocket Rewards. This is a program that rewards high-performing publishers who achieve certain milestones within any given month. These dollar figures include all money earned through affiliate commissions and through the referral program.

The reward comes in the form of a gift card from a number of different retailers and restaurants, including Barnes and Noble, Home Depot, Gap, Bath and Body Works, Red Lobster, and California Pizza Kitchen. If a publisher earns a total of $5,000 in a month, he or she earns a $25 gift card. This escalates through six levels in all. The largest reward (a $500 gift card) is for earning $100,000 in a single month...”

Review of Commission Junction

October 27th, 2008

A review of one of the biggest affiliate networks, Commission Junction, has been added to the site.

Here is a small excerpt of the review:

“Easily one of the largest affiliate networks on the Internet today is Commission Junction. Commonly referred to as CJ.com for short, Commission Junction is home to a wide variety of advertisings, ranging from large corporations to small startups.

This provides publishers with access to a number of different affiliate opportunities, promoting well-known products as well as ones that cater to a very small and specific niche. Instant approval of a publisher application is also a definite plus, especially for beginning publishers who don’t have impressive traffic numbers yet...”

Review Commenting System Added!

September 4th, 2008

Due to strong demand, we’ve added a member commenting feature to all of our network reviews.

Each review now has a comment box located at the bottom, and only registered members can leave comments. By default, the comments are not shown, but there are links to view the comments at both the very top and bottom of the review which will expand the page to reveal them.

Members can leave comments by simply entering them into the comment box located at the bottom of each review.

Once submitted, the comment will automatically appear with the other comments as seen in the screenshot below.

Additionally, if the member had rated the network, their rating will be displayed with the comment. For example, Tyler voted the network MarketLeverage a 9/10, so a 9 is displayed with his comment. This is done automatically.

If the member did not rate the network, then it will display “Hasn’t Rated Yet” in lieu of a number. If they rate the network later, this will update accordingly.

The addition of member comments to reviews allows readers to get a “fuller picture” of the network by reading experiences left through comments by various members.

Universal Member System Added

August 29th, 2008

A major new feature and improvement to PublisherSpot has been implemented on the site.

PublisherSpot now sports a universal member system which allows visitors to register for a free account which is seamlessly integrated across the entire site including both the forum and blog.

This eliminates any confusion and disorganization caused by requiring separate accounts for different areas of the site.

Furthermore, the universal member system introduces a number of other great new features added to the site which will be introduced throughout the next few blog posts.

This post will give a quick walkthrough to the universal member system.

What Does an Account Get You?

Registering for a free account, which takes literally 15-20 seconds, allows you to:

  • Rate Networks
  • Comment on Networks
  • Post in the Forum
  • Comment on Blog Posts

How to Register

First, you will notice a new Control Panel section located at the top right of the site. This section is situated across the entire site, allowing you to access it whenever you require to.

To register an account, simply click on the “Register” link located at the top right. You will then be taken to the registration screen:

Simply fill out all of the fields and you’re done! You will be sent an e-mail confirmation e-mail as well, but do not need to confirm anything.

Using your Account

Within your control panel you can log out at any time, change your password, or edit your name or e-mail address.

When logged in, you can access any of the site’s features. For example, the screenshot below shows a comment being written to a blog post.

This screenshot shows the editing of the forum profile. Again, once logged into your control panel, you will have complete access to any area of the site and not be required to enter in any more information.

Stay tuned in the next few days as we unveil some of the other new features and improvements of PublisherSpot!

MarketLeverage Now Wires All International Pubs

August 28th, 2008

MarketLeverage As of early August, MarketLeverage is now wiring all international affiliates instead of mailing cheques by FedEx. The new minimum payout threshold has also changed to $100.

The decision to wire international publishers was made due to the expensive international  shipping fees from FedEx.

US-based publishers will still receive their cheques via FedEx, and their minimum payout threshold remains unchanged at $25. Additionally, any US publishers who generate $1,000 and over each week will continue to receive payments by bank wire as well.

Review of T3leads

August 15th, 2008

A review of the brand new affiliate network T3leads has been added to the site.

Here is a small excerpt of the review:

1T3leads.com largely focuses on the finance industry, which happens to be one of the most lucrative industries on the Internet. Instead of trying to sell free business cards or online DVD rental trials, the core focus on T3leads.com is money. The advertisers featured on the PPL (pay-per-lead) affiliate network relate to the areas of auto insurance, home improvement, mortgage loans, student loans, payday loans, renters insurance, and other similar areas.

Whereas the other CPA-based networks out there typically have an individual page for each advertiser, possibly providing the publisher with more specific information about that company’s particular offer, T3leads.com instead simply breaks down the advertisers based on category. These would be the aforementioned areas of payday loans, debt consolidation loans, and so on.

In terms of different campaigns, T3leads.com is populated by a series of “public” websites. These would be the sites to which all publishers would have access and these are the sites where publishers would aim to send their leads. Alternatively, it is also possible to construct private websites…”
