MarketLeverage Now Wires All International Pubs

August 28th, 2008

MarketLeverage As of early August, MarketLeverage is now wiring all international affiliates instead of mailing cheques by FedEx. The new minimum payout threshold has also changed to $100.

The decision to wire international publishers was made due to the expensive international  shipping fees from FedEx.

US-based publishers will still receive their cheques via FedEx, and their minimum payout threshold remains unchanged at $25. Additionally, any US publishers who generate $1,000 and over each week will continue to receive payments by bank wire as well.

Review of T3leads

August 15th, 2008

A review of the brand new affiliate network T3leads has been added to the site.

Here is a small excerpt of the review:

1T3leads.com largely focuses on the finance industry, which happens to be one of the most lucrative industries on the Internet. Instead of trying to sell free business cards or online DVD rental trials, the core focus on T3leads.com is money. The advertisers featured on the PPL (pay-per-lead) affiliate network relate to the areas of auto insurance, home improvement, mortgage loans, student loans, payday loans, renters insurance, and other similar areas.

Whereas the other CPA-based networks out there typically have an individual page for each advertiser, possibly providing the publisher with more specific information about that company’s particular offer, T3leads.com instead simply breaks down the advertisers based on category. These would be the aforementioned areas of payday loans, debt consolidation loans, and so on.

In terms of different campaigns, T3leads.com is populated by a series of “public” websites. These would be the sites to which all publishers would have access and these are the sites where publishers would aim to send their leads. Alternatively, it is also possible to construct private websites…”

Review of Pepperjam Network Added

August 11th, 2008

We’ve added a review of the recently launched affiliate network Pepperjam Network.

Here is a small excerpt of the review:

1 “Among some of the featured advertisers in the Pepperjam Network are such notable names as RocaWear, VistaPrint, Warner Bros., MGM, Jelly Belly, eBay, and FlyCell.

According to its official website, there are two things that separate Pepperjam Network from other affiliate marketing networks. First, Pepperjam directly addresses the poor, unreliable communication tools of other networks, ensuring that each and every publisher has fantastic access to all the support tools that they require. Second, Pepperjam aims to overcome the lack of affiliate transparency that publishers may experience with other networks. Pepperjam works with its advertisers to improve this transparency.

Pepperjam has been in the affiliate marketing business for nearly a decade, providing a wealth of experience to all of its advertisers and publishers.

In addition to standard banners, text links, and product feeds, Pepperjam Network also offers something that it calls pepperjamADS. This is a system that allows publishers to show multiple advertisements at the same time, rather than only highlighting a single offer. The layout of the affiliate marketing widget is very similar to what can be found with Google AdSense, except each of the ads is hand-selected by the publisher himself. Each widget can be completely customized. Publishers select offers from multiple merchants within a single niche, or offers from different industries.”

Review of XY7 Added

August 2nd, 2008

A review of the affiliate network XY7 has been added to the site.

Here is a small excerpt of the review:

1“One of the affiliate networks that was featured in the Top Affiliate Challenge Internet reality TV series during the middle of 2008 was XY7.com.

By and large, this affiliate-based advertising network is much the same as others like it, but there are a few differences that may be worth noting. For example, in addition to CPA-based advertising, XY7 also features some advertising campaigns that are based on CPC instead.

Features

According to the official website, XY7.com offers “many top exclusive deals not found anywhere else on the net.” These offers can be used by a wide range of Internet marketers and publishers to maximize their revenues. In addition to website owners, XY7.com also has offers that are well suited for online newsletters, e-zines, opt-in lists, blogs, and search engine marketers.

Most of the advertising campaigns offered through XY7.com are based on commissions. This is dependent on each individual advertiser, but the typical campaign would require a site visitor to fill out a short survey, provide an email address, or otherwise fulfill a certain action before the publisher earns a commission. Depending on the advertiser, the action could be based on impressions, clicks, leads, or sales.”

Review of XY7Elite Added

August 1st, 2008

1 We’ve added a review of the invitation-only affiliate network XY7Elite.

Here is a small excerpt of the review:

“There is certainly no shortage of affiliate networks out there. In fact, more and more are popping up all the time. With so many affiliate networks and the competition for new affiliate acquisitions being fierce to say the least, XY7Elite differs from the rest in that they only let in a very small number of affiliates.

This is because 99% of affiliates are actually not eligible to join XY7Elite. XY7Elite is, as their name suggests, for elite affiliates only. Essentially this refers to super affiliates. The absolute minimum prerequisite to joining is to be able to generate at least $5,000 in commissions per week. XY7Elite is therefore not a network for newcomers or small affiliates.”

Google AdSense Cuts Referral Program

July 1st, 2008

2 Google announced today that they will be cancelling their AdSense referral program at the end of August.

This follows slashes made to their referral program earlier this year. It appears that Google AdSense has grown so large and is common knowledge these days that they do not need to provide incentive to gain new members.

The e-mail they send out is below:

“Hello,

Thank you for participating in the AdSense Referrals program.
We’re writing to let you know that we will be retiring the AdSense
Referrals program during the last week of August. We appreciate
your patience during this transition and here are some alternative
options to consider:

* Google Affiliate Network: As part of the integration of
DoubleClick, the DoubleClick Performics Affiliate Network will now
operate as the Google Affiliate Network for advertisers targeting
users located in the United States. Similar to the AdSense
Referrals program, the Google Affiliate Network enables publishers
to apply for advertiser programs and get paid based on
advertiser-defined actions instead of clicks or impressions. For
further details, please visit:
www.google.com/ads/affiliatenetwork.

* AdSense for content ads: If you have less than three AdSense
for content ad units on a page, you may wish to replace the
referral ad units with standard AFC ad units.

If you currently use referral ads, either to promote Google
products or offerings from AdWords advertisers, AdSense Referrals
code will no longer display ads beginning the last week of August.
We encourage you to take the following steps before the product is
retired:

* Remove the referral code from your site(s): Please take a
moment to remove all referral code from your sites before the last
week of August, so you can continue to effectively monetize your
ad space.

* Run and save all referrals reports on your desktop: Create
and save all reports related to the referrals program on your
desktop, so you continue to have access to your valuable campaign
information

Why is this happening?

We’re constantly looking for ways to improve AdSense by developing
and supporting features which drive the best monetization results
for our publishers. Sometimes, this requires retiring existing
features so we can focus our efforts on the ones that will be most
effective in the long term. For this reason, we will be retiring
the AdSense Referrals program. If you have any additional
questions, please visit our Help Center:
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/topic.py?topic=14882

Sincerely.

The Google AdSense Team”

We will be updating our review of Google AdSense to reflect this change soon.
