- What does the Editor's Choice icon mean?
- What does the Featured Network icon mean?
- How are the right side "Top Networks" determined?
The Editor's Choice icon represents that the network was deemed by PublisherSpot to be an excellent or outstanding network. Networks with the Editor's Choice symbol are strongly recommended by PublisherSpot.
More than one network can be labelled as an Editor's Choice, but typically usually only one or two are designed as such per category (Ad Network, Affiliate Network, etc.).
The Featured Network icon represents that the network is currently a Featured Network on PublisherSpot. The Featured Network status displays the corresponding network(s) with an icon and background highlighting them on the top of the right side network lists as well as displays the network(s) on the top of all Browse and Search result pages.
Networks with the Featured Network status have paid for the added exposure.
The Top Network lists on the right side of the site display the top-10 rated networks as by registered members, for their respective category.
For example, if a network is categorized as an affiliate network and it is among the top-10 rated networks, it will be displayed within the "Top Affiliate Networks" section. Since it is not classified as an ad network, it will not be displayed in the "Top Ad Networks" section.
Only networks which have been rated by at least 10 members are eligible for the Top Network lists in order to provide more accurate data.
