How do you choose an ad network

We are looking to increase our ad revenue by publishing ads on our site, bowling.com, through an ad network. Since there are so many to choose from what is the best way to figure out which one is best for you?

To answer your question, it really depends on your needs. For example, a media site (videos, games, photos, etc.) typically have a lot richer ads such as pop-ups, interstitials, etc. While a site with a lot of written content will have more subtle and contextual ads such as AdSense.

You may actually want to look into affiliate networks since you're selling products on your site, and your visitors are already interested in purchasing products.
